    The goal of this ministry is to be a supplement to the normal ministry of the local church which involves every gender and every age. Ministries that are given to specific needs in the church are not wrong but they should be viewed and participated in with the whole church in mind. The priority of Faith Community Church is the Lord's Day worship service where men and women, young and old gather together to sing, read and hear the word preached. This ministry of Biblical Womanhood is simply a supplement to the whole local church ministry.

    This is a biblical ministry. In other words, women are not gathering together for self-help topics, gossip hour, baking time, etc. They are gathered for the sake of knowing the Bible more as it pertains to womanhood.

    Also, the goal here gets more specific. The goal is not only bible, but it is specifically biblical womanhood. This ministry is for women who are interested in growing towards biblical womanhood. What is a biblical woman to be like? How should she act? These types of things. Titus 2:3-5 "Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled." 

  • fellowship

    Women who are growing biblically will realize their need for biblical relationships and you can find them here. Occasionally throughout the year, beyond the Bible studies offered, the women will get together for fellowship time together. They will eat, play games, laugh, and enjoy one another's company.
